Mughal Gardens are the most beautiful gardens place in Delhi city. It is located at president estate just back of the president palace. It is spread in 380 acres area. It has loft of variety of the flowers. It open in every year in month of February to March for general public.

Mughal Garden is designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is a beautiful garden conceptualized for the then Viceroy House and the present Rashtrapati Bhawan. The architecture which is Indian as well as Western has been designed for the Mughal Canals, terraces and flowering shrubs to get into the most beautifully designed ways giving the paradise feel to the person who visits the garden. Now, thinking about the same kind of Gardens then Shalimar bagh and Nishat bagh comes in mind as the Mughal Garden concept was long drawn by the architectures of Mughal Kingdom. The Rose remains the key features of the Mughal Gardens along with tulips, Asiatic lilies and daffodils with hyacinth and other seasonal flowers to beautify the gardens of Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The Mughal garden has two big lawns with the central one being made in square shape with 45 metres and East lawn is attached to the adjacent building which is oblong in shape and is three fourth of the size of Central Lawn. The various birds could be seen moving in the lawn which are Peacocks, Hornbills along with parrots, mynahs and dovesm pigeons along with spotted birds like cormorant, jay or transiting stork moving with ease adding to the beauty of the garden.
