Vijay Ghat

Vijay Ghat is memorial (Samadhi) place is dedicated to Lal Bahadur Shastri second Prime Minister of India. It spread in 40 acres area land. It was constructed in 1966.
Lal Bahadur Shastri was second prime minister of the India. During his period Pakistan attacked on India but India won on Pakistan then Shree Lal Bahadur Shastri became as national hero. He went to Tashkent (When it was part of the Soviet Union but now part of the Uzbekistan) to "Tashkent Declaration" but died after some hours on sign on declaration between Indian and Pakistan.
He served as second Prime minister of India and his prime minister reign period was 9 June 1964 to 11 January 1966.
