Veer Bhumi the samadhi of the torchbearer of 21st Century for India, who unfortunately died a tragic death by the political system of India who has given the country neither something glorious to think about and nor has left the country to doldrums. The simple way to think is that if the subjects will not be good then is it possible for any ruler to govern the country on the path of greatness. In this way, the personal thought which comes in terms of Veer Bhumi being associated with the Congress party head and general secretary of the All India Congress Committee who was Mr. Rajiv Gandhi.

The Veer Bhumi is a simply crafted memorial with rock carved lotus and 46 replicas which portrays the life of the leader. The area is covered with greenery all around and the lotuses are encircled by the international destination visited by him. It is made at the place where the last rites of Late Sh. Rajiv Gandhi took place and the young Prime Minister got assassinated in the year 1991. If the various achievements of his is to be known then it was introduction of Computer in the main stream and also various other schemes to uplift the poor.

Veer Bhumi is a samadhi (memorial) place of the Rajiv Gandhi Prime Minister of India. Veer Bhumi land is spread in 15 acres area. It is just adjust with Raj Ghat. Rajiv Gandhi was 6th Prime Minister of India who reign on India from 31 October 1984 to 2 December 1989. Rajiv Gandhi was born on 20 August 1944 in Bombay. He was 40 years old when take oath as Prime Minister. Rajiv Gandhi was cremated at Veer Bhumi, Delhi.

Shri Rajiv Gandhi was died 21 May 1991, at Sriperumbudur (Tamil Nadu) in a bomb suicide attack. Rajiv Gandhi Memorial also placed at Sriperumbudur near of the Chennai, Tamil Nadu where he was Assassination. Rajiv Gandhi Memorial is a popular tourist place at Sriperumbudur, near Chennai where exist 7 pillars and a big grass lawn.
