Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir (Temple)

Digambar Jain Lal Mandir and is one of the oldest and the best-known Jain temples in India. The temple is built with a reminiscent of glorious structure and is located at the commonly known Old-city or walled city. The temple is located at just opposite massive Red fort and is also known to serve the avian veterinary hospitals which is a well known bird hospital serving the birds and animals. The Old Delhi was found by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the Jain temple was built to be in an year 1656. The temple is built all according to the Jain Vastu structure which was a form started by Jain Digambaras and is visited by many people from all over the world.

The visiting of temple complex can also be completed with various activities including a wide range of Mahastambha column which stands in-front of temple. The main devotional area is on the first floor and the statue of Rishabhanatha who was the first Tirthankara along with Lord Parsavnath who is considered to be the Lord Mahavira is found here. There are other nearby temples which was constructed around the temple along with the famous Chandni Chowk which is in the vicinity and can be reached easily by Metro.

Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir or Lal Mandir or Red Temple is the oldest Jain religious temple in Delhi city. It is originally built in 1658 and located at Chandni Chowk city near of The Red Fort.

It is also known for Birds hospital (Avian Veterinary). Old Delhi city was established during 1628 to 1658 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. He also invited Agrawal Jain merchants to settle in city and also give to this community to build temporary temple. Later devotees built this temple permanently. The temple has Tirthankara Parshva idol.
