About Lakshman Jhula (Suspension Bridge): Lakshman Jhula is a Suspension Bridge which was crossed the River Ganga in Rishikesh. It was built in 11 April 1930 by British Government now it is closed on 20 July 2019 to walking to general public because it completed approximately 90 years. Now Uttarakhand state government is constructing new similar bridge near of the old bridge which will open to general public soon.

About Ram Jhula Rishikesh (Suspension Bridge): Ram Jhula is also a Suspension Bridge similar as Lakshman Jhula which is crossed the River Ganga in Rishikesh. It is just 2.8 KM distance from Lakshman Jhula. It was built in 1986 and bigger than Lakshman Jhula which can use genera public to cross the River Ganga by two wheeler, car and pedestrian.
