Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, is a grand edifice in New Delhi spread over a 200,000 square feet area. With four storeys and 340 rooms, this magnificent architectural splendour has attract almost every tourist who comes to visit Delhi. Apart from its historic importance, Rashtrapathi Bhavan is also famous for its beautiful gardens.

Bookings for Rashtrapati Bhavan visit are done through e-mails, telephonic calls and online services. Every winter, this remains open for tourists on weekends from 9am to 4pm. Two standard visit routes are planned. One is the Museum Route that takes you through the library and other important areas within the building and the second is the Garden Route that covers the vast expanse of garden area including the famous Mughal gardens.

The epitome of Indian Democracy, Sansad Bhavan or the Parliament House, was inaugurated in 1927 and was designed jointly by Herbert Baker and Edwin Lutyens. The circular architectural delight draws tourists from various parts of India as well as foreign nations. Located to the northern side of Rajpath, the Parliament Street is very well connected by public transport. If you wish to witness and experience live sessions in the parliament, you need a permission letter from the reception counter at Raisina Road. Foreign nationals need an introductory letter from their respective embassies.
