Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Pragati maidan, Delhi is a 72000 Sq. Metres venue in New Delhi which is meant for large exhibitions and conventions and the venue is managed by ITPO I.e. Indian Trade Promotion Organization. The Pragati Maidan started functioning in 1972 and has conducted some of the high profile events along with exhibitions including The International Trade Fair which is an annual event at New Delhi where millions of people come to visit various stalls and buy the products from the stalls. The events which are held at this stall are conferences, expos and also the high standard service which are managed through the ITPO.

The overall layout and project was designed by architect Raj Rewal and the huge complex buildings cover 150 acres which overlook the historic Purana Quila and the various pavilions are by the name of Nehru pavilion. Defense pavilion along with Indira pavilion and Son of India pavilion. The Auto Expo attracted many people which was a biennial event held here but it is now hoisted at Greater Noida and now also the property held annual tax return counters helping the Income tax department and it hosts Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week which is managed by fashion design Council of India.

Pragati Maidan is the largest exhibitions centre of the Delhi city which is located just opposite of the National Sports Club of India and other nearest landmarks are old Fort and Zoo. It was architect and designed by Raj Rewal and inaugurated on Nov 1972 by PM of India. It is spread in 150 acres area land; it is also the head office of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) which organized exhibition on whole India. Pragati Maidan also host India International Trade Fair annually during 14 Nov to 27 Nov. During India International Trade Fair lots of countries exhibitors along with India exhibitors come to sell their products.It is the best place to explore whole India states traders together and also can see latest products exhibition which includes automobiles, mechanical, electronics, civil engineering, books and many more.
