National museum is an archaeological and historic museum located on the Janpath and can be reached by the Metro stations at Central Secretariat. The museum has glorified Indian culture through artefacts which are from the various periods such as Gupta and Mauryan period along with Harrapan and Mohenjodaro civilizations. The museum is open between 10 AM and 5 PM. Indians need to pay an admission fee of Rs. 10. For foreigners, the fee in Rs. 300 and the ticket includes an audio tour. Indians can opt for an audio tour at Rs. 100 for Hindi audio and R.s 150 for other languages. Cameras can be taken with prior permission only.
