National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA)

The National Gallery of Modern Art is a main modern art gallery of the India which is also the largest modern art gallery of the world. It is located near of the India Gate. It is running under Govt of India (Ministry of Culture). Modern Art museum is located at Jaipur House. Jaipur House was residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur during 1936 to 1953. National Gallery of Modern Art was established 29 March 1954. This museum has approx 14000 works arts to visit public. The museum has several famous artists work arts like Raja Ravi Verma, Rabindranath Tagore, Nandalal Bose, Jamini Roy, Amrita Sher-Gil and Thomas Daniell etc.
